On Meta Quest, you see the obstacles from your plan at full scale on your field or indoors. Walk the course, then set up the real obstacles. You can also preview it in your browser.

Three ways
Three ways to bring your plan into RunLine
All your courses are under “Courses”. You can preview them in the browser and then load them in the headset.
Import a plan as an image
Use a plan image from Smarter Agility, as an image file or a screenshot. RunLine can't read photos of printouts. RunLine reads the obstacles and numbers from the plan image. Check the result against your image, then select “Add course”.

If you have the CRCD4 file (.agl) from Clean Run Course Designer 4, import it directly. RunLine also reads Hoopers plans with hoops, gates and barrels.

Four steps to your first course
Create your RunLine account, install the app from the Meta Horizon Store and pair your headset.

Create account
You need an email address and a password. Then use the link in the email to verify your address.

Install the app
Install RunLine from the Meta Horizon Store on your Quest 3 or Quest 3S.

Pair your headset
Open getrunline.app/pair on your phone or PC. Start RunLine on the headset and look at the QR code. You don’t need to type your password in the headset.

Load a course
Load your own course or the demo course. Place it and align it with both hands. Then set up the real obstacles from the plan.

Features
What you can do with RunLine
Turn your left palm towards you and the menu opens. The first time you open RunLine, it shows you how to open the hand menu, load a course and align it on the field.
Position your course
RunLine shows the obstacles at full scale, at the positions from your plan. Set the floor height, align the course on the field, then touch and hold “Lock”.
Dogmode
A virtual Border Collie runs your course path, or just a section of it. The dog camera shows the course from the dog’s eye level or from slightly behind and above the dog.

If the plan doesn’t fit the hall, move obstacles right in the headset (“Adapt” in the hand menu). RunLine saves the change in the course. To send it back to Smarter Agility, sign in once with your Smarter Agility password under Link Smarter Agility.
Help in the menu
Tap the lifebuoy in the hand menu. From there you can restart the tutorial, look up the gestures, load a demo course or read “Outdoors: find your course again”.
See it in the headset
What you need
- Meta Quest 3 or Quest 3S. Quest 2 and Quest Pro are not supported. The FAQ explains why.
- A phone or PC for your account, pairing and import.
- Optional: a Smarter Agility Pro account for automatic sync.
What does it cost?
RunLine is currently free. I’m planning two subscriptions: Basic at €5 to €10 a month and Pro at around €15 a month, both also as a discounted annual subscription. Your account remains even without a subscription. Importing courses and using the headset will then require one.

Where can I get RunLine?
On the Meta Horizon Store for Quest 3 and Quest 3S. Quest 2 and Quest Pro are not supported.
Do I need Smarter Agility?
No. Without Smarter Agility, import a CRCD4 file (.agl). For the image import, use a plan image from Smarter Agility, as an image file or a screenshot. RunLine can't read photos of printouts. With a linked Smarter Agility Pro account, RunLine syncs your designs automatically.
How do I restore the saved position?
With printed markers, you can align the course to its saved position again, even after taking off the headset. For outdoor use, also see Outdoor tracking.
